solipsism
I've successfully installed osX.4.7 but unable to get the on-board Intel PRO 1000MT NIC and a PCI D-Link 530TX+ Rev.F to work. Intel PRO 1000MT: OS X sees the NIC but will not obtain an IP address via DHCP despite my Linsys WRT54G router seeing it's MAC address and assigning an IP address. 530TX+ Rev.F: I've downloaded the latest drivers for this hardware and despite the D-Link suport site saying it will work, I can't even get OS X to even see the card. After installing the driver I get an error stating it was unable to install dlkfet.kext correctly. mdg
Buy a Netgear GA311. Like $20 and works flawlessly on 10.4.8 (Semthex) with Neo's Realtek driver. /mdg Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/34932-network-issues-with-two-different-nics/#findComment-248014 Share on other sites
Rammjet
530TX+ Rev.F has a Via Rhine chipset. Follow the Ethernet link in my signature and find Via Rhine.
