Sailfish Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 I have been messing around with a brand iSight and have it up and going in 10.4.8 with Semthex's Beta-8 kernel. Beautiful product, packed artfully, awesome picture. I am struggling with the sound though... Don't have any. Anybody had any experience with this? mdg Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Do you have sound when you test, and can do audio chats using the iSight built in Mic, but when you launch a video chat you get no sound? If so, I had this very same problem, which I fixed. Sailfish Posted December 5, 2006 Author Share Posted December 5, 2006 I had two way video working fine. In the video monitor menu, the audio bar was showing movement in response to my voice. The gentleman on the other end couldn't hear me and I could not hear him. Is their a way that the device can be tested locally? I am almost afraid to ask what you ended up doing....
