Rikoshet
That thing is driving me crazy! I'm trying to make it work for 4 days already... My old asus x99a II is dead and I replaced it with a Asus x99-ws/ipmi. So I have a working system on my ssd but it doesn't boot on new mobo with EFI folder made for x99a II. I suspect the problem is related to RTC, but maybe also to cpu PM. Symptoms: with SSDT-RTC0-RANGE-HEDT prebuild.aml I can reach desktop but it's very slow and chopy, from when I click to when I have a response it takes 5-10sec! It's not the gpu because I checked under SysInfo (it took me like 5min) and my radeon VII is recognized correctly and it was working fine on old mobo without any patching. Without SSDT-RTC0-RANGE-HEDT.aml it just hang on boot few lines after PCI Configuration END. So I have a system that I cant use... I used the Dortania guide (it was easy for the x99a II) But the new mobo has something different... Guys, if you have some idea please help! etorix
I've never seen such general slugishness… Obviously, this is not a drop-in replacement but a very different motherboard and it probably needs to be hacked anew. So the first step would be to switch to the DEBUG version of OpenCore and drop the ACPI tables (Misc>Debug>SysReport:True, Target:67).
