PropoFlexWX4
I read that the latest OpenCore 0.7.4 commit allows Monterey to boot with Full Security and also enables Monterey OTA updates with Full Security. I swapped my SMBIOS to iMacPro1,1 and SecureBootModel=j137 + ApECID and have %02 security mode on Big Sur 11.6 20G165. Also upgraded to the latest possible commit of OpenCore 0.7.4. Will I be able to upgrade just fine to Monterey via OTA once that comes out? I ask because In a previous guide it was said that "j137" didn't work on Monterey... But it was an older guide. Is this fixed now? Edited October 4, 2021 by PropoFlexWX4 Adding tags. But you're right, with OpenCore latest builds you can have full security (if SecureBootModel and SMBIOS models have T2 chip as in your case) in Monterey. Previously this was possible only in Big Sur and older. If SMBIOS model doesn't have T2 chip (iMac19,1 as example) you can have medium security, not full (as in real Macs). And you must be able to do OTA without changing anything in SMBIOS.
