Processor: Intel Core i7 8700 3.2 Ghz

Memory: 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4

Hard Drive: 1 TB Seagate 

iGPU: Intel UHD 630

 

macOS big Sur 11.6 

 

SMBIOS: iMac 19,1

 

EFI Folder: OC.zip

 

config: config.plist

 

On Windows 10 my CPU is hovering over 4Ghz 

 

While on macOS I never see my CPU go above 3.2 - 3.3Ghz

 

Any help will be appreciated

You have at least one unnecessary quirk: Kernel>Quirks>AppleCpuPmCfgLock.

AppleXcpmCfgLock does the same thing, if you cannot unlock MSr 0xE2 from your BIOS. I'm not sure if it's the culprit, but it does affect CPU power management…

I "fixed" it using this guide https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/universal/pm.html#enabling-x86platformplugin

 

But the side effect was my cpu got much more hotter 

 

Before: CPU Frequency under idle 1.5Ghz-2.6Ghz Temp: 42C, Under Moderate Load 3.2-3.5Ghz 50-60C

 

After: CPU Frequency under idle 3 Ghz Temp: 55C, Under Moderate Load 4.3Ghz Temp: 70C

 

Only try it if you have a good cooling solution.
