franmglp Posted August 24, 2021 Share Posted August 24, 2021 (edited) Hello! i'm having the same problem as this user at Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/oobey4/opencore_no_signal_after_turning_display_on_again/ My hardware: Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H, i5-3570K, RX 5500 XT, Samsung S24F350 HDMI Monitor I don't know if this started to happen after the 0.7.1 update since I migrated from Clover to OpenCore just some days ago after not using my hack for a long time (OC is such a great refresh.) I need to reconnect my HDMI cable or activate/deactivate AMD FreeSync on my monitor to get the image back. I also did an NVRAM reset sometime as the Reddit user but I don't know what can be causing this. Hope someone can help me. Thanks! I'm avoiding Big Sur because "Coil Whine" from my GPU is disturbing and unbearable. It's almost INAUDIBLE in Catalina (very pleasant and much better than in Windows.)
