sebus Posted June 5, 2021 Share Posted June 5, 2021 (edited) HP 840 G3 with SATA SSD & M2 SSD M2 is boot drive with Catalina 10.15.7, Big Sur 11.2.3 in installed to SATA All works fine, OC 0.6.6 boots and from chooser I select what needed. Catalina always boots fine. But Big Sur will ONLY book successfully if started after restarted Catalina. From cold it will always hang at the same point Anybody has any idea what could be causing it? Used full 11.4 USB installer (with same EFI) and upgrade/update worked perfectly fine While it boots fully to BS from cold, it is not working correctly (I think it is to do with DW1820A firmware not loading correctly) Boot to Catalina first, reboot & BS works without an issue sebus Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
