magic0200 Posted December 3, 2006 Share Posted December 3, 2006 Hey everyone, I am running a 3.0GHZ h64 pentium with 1gig 5xx mhz ram (dell E510) and nvidia geforce 7300 gt (PNY) with titan drivers. At this point I am LOVING my apple except for one thing, video playback of codec movies. I am running the titan installer pkg and QE/CI both are up and running. Thing is when I try to run .TS streams and .MKV (x264 codec) with the newest VLC, I find that I am still getting lag in .TS files and .MKV video wont' show up but audio and the first image of the video will. At this point I am wondering if it's my specs (which I would doubt since everything else runs perfect) or is this an known issue. Also, I have tried Mplayer but that doesn't work at all. Right now VLC is my only option that I know of. I have ran 720 quicktime videos no problem as well (works 100% and looks amazing) so it seems that my card can keep up. I am thinking it's settings that I might have to tweak or might be missing something else. If anyone could help me out that would be great.
