RagK
On the installation screen while installing on ssd (internal) system reboots at "About 15 mins remaining" and then only usb is there in OpenCore boot screen, no internal ssd formatted as APFS during installation in Disk Utility. Laptop: Dell Inspiron 5490 CPU: i5-10210U GFX: Intel UHD 620, NVIDIA MX250 EFI: https://filebin.net/zbgi7l5gs7fjekt9 Issue : Incompatible Hardware of SSD (Samsung PM911) Tried NVMeFix kext but still the same, there are some workarounds of kernel patch but they are not stable cause kernel panic. STLVNUB
It's not uncommon for this behaviour, What are you trying to boot. More detail please. I am trying to install Big Sur, latest version. The Installer USB boots successfully in Mac OS Recovery through which we install Big Sur. After selecting Install macOS Big Sur > Agree > Selecting APFS formatted ssd, the installer begins to install, After about 5-6 mins It says "About 14 minutes Remaining" system reboots to OpenCore where there is no option to boot from internal ssd (not shown in Boot device but shown in Disk Utility in Recovery), Only option is to boot from installer. STLVNUB
It takes several boots before you have a working system Take note of your selection when you get to the menu. You have to point it to the right one. RagK
Just now, STLVNUB said: It takes several boots before you have a working system Take note of your selection when you get to the menu. You have to point it to the right one. After installing from usb, when system reboots to opencore, there are no internal drives where Macos was installed. External drive is only visible.
