vomesk
Hi. I've an MSI Prestige 15 laptop with Big sur and OpenCore 0.6.7 working almost good but i've an issue that i can't fix. First I had green screen on an external monitor through HDMI that fixes after sleep and wake up or when i disable AppleALC.kext. I've change device-id, make a new patch with hackintool and added agdpmod=vit9696. Now it works but i have bad colors and stripes on the integrated screen. I've found that if i disable appleALC.kext it works so i think the problem comes from the HDMI audio signal (had). Any idea?... You can try to replace hda-gfx property with No-hda-gfx, this usually fixes those failures but the audio is lost through HDMI. Replace these 2 lines: <key>hda-gfx</key> <string>onboard-1</string> for these other 2: <key>No-hda-gfx</key> <data>AAAAAAAAAAA=</data> Try and comment. vomesk
I would like to have HDMI audio. The thing is what changes after sleep that make it works.
hardcorehenry
In monitor settings make sure there is: Input Color Format>RGB not YPbPr. Edited March 12, 2021 by hardcorehenry

Mine hasn't that option, i'll check. 5 hours ago, Hervé said: Take an IOReg extract (using IORegistryExplorer app) before and after sleep, then compare... Where exactly? Audio? vomesk
If I boot with AppleALC.kext disabled it works but i have no sound so that makes me think there is a conflict between HDMI audio and video signal, but in the other side that fixes after sleep so maybe something in power management. I have no idea.
vomesk
Can this be something? After wake up there is a new entry on framebuffer2/display0/apple display. DevidePowerState 0x3
