Hi, I tried to build my 10.13 hackintosh with my E540 ThinkPad using dortania guide and the OC's version is 0.66.

It won't enter the installer and stuck on "End RandomSeed".

I tried Catalina, it gave me "[EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START]" and

"[EB|`B:IEP] Err**(0xE) @** LocP 8ECE08D8-A6D4-430B-A7B0-2DF318E7884A"

#Spec:

- Laptop model: Lenovo E540

- CPU: Intel i5-4210M (Haswell)

- GPU1: Intel HD 4600 (Intel)

- GPU2: GeForce 840M ( NVIDIA Maxwell)

- Motherboard: Intel HM87

- Audio: Conexant cx20751

#Detail:

At first, I kept everything minimum as the guide suggests, and WAS ABLE TO install mac, but when it rebooted, it stuck at "End RandomSeed". I tired reinstalling a few times, messing with the partition a little, cause I got no clue what I was doing at the time, just tried to explore a little of everything. But no luck.

I suspect it's due to the cfg lock unable to be disable, cause there's no such option in BIOS. So I update my BIOS to see if it unlocks the option for me. Still, no luck.

From then on(I can't quite remember if it's right after I update the BIOS), I stuck here forever, able to boot into opencore(or clover) picker, but unable to enter the installer at all, no matter what method I use(clover or oc) and what version I choose(10.13 or 10.15).

#Fixes I've tried:

  1. https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/g7rqt1/if_youre_stuck_at_endrandomseed_or/ RebuildAppleMemoryMap OFF and SetupVirtualMap ON, doesn't help.

  2. Stuck on [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] doesn't help.

  3. Fixing KASLR slide values boot-arg slide=0 seems to improve something(see from the log, MMIO seems to be properly configured), but fixes nothing. I disabled DevirtualiseMmio and ProvideCustomSlide then, cause my laptop doesn't seem to need those.

  4. Using LauncherOption doesn't help.

If you need any other info, please let me know, I'll add them here. Please help.
