rmjohnson144 0
When my system boots, it shows the boot menu in the upper left corner, but my monitor displays its info in the same upper left corner. Is there an easy way to enable a graphical boot menu in the center of the screen? Also, will the boot loader change to 1080p resolution, as I have a 4k monitor and the boot codes are too tiny and get blurry when scrolling. I tried the open core beautify section once, and nothing changed. I was a little confused on some of the steps.
miliuco 195
Most monitors can change the position of their menu, does your monitor have that option? Check out this thread, it has lots of information on how to use OpenCanopy.
Hervé 2,093
The OC boot menu in top left corner is the internal (text) Picker. You may switch to the external (graphical) Picker. Consult the guidance available at Dortania for details.

I'll have to read up on it a little. 17 hours ago, Hervé said: The OC boot menu in top left corner is the internal (text) Picker. You may switch to the external (graphical) Picker. Hervé 2,093
Picker GUI normally works perfectly as long as you have the correct settings in place: all the required files for the given OC version (external Picker requires OpenCanopy.efi), keeping in mind that the OC package (OpenCorePkg) does not include all the necessary resources, these being available in the separate binary data package (OcBinaryData) in your OC config file, Misc->Boot->Pickermust be set to External All is explained here in the Dortania guidance. miliuco
rmjohnson144 0
Weird, it didn't save the changes either time. I am sure I saved it both times. Anyway, it works fine this time. Thanks for everyone's help
