Need help translating.

Rebooting the computer fixed it for me with Chrome. I'm not sure what you did to get Safari to work, I see no instructions. Thanks for the help, -=Mark=-

Need help translating.

I googled for some help and found an article from here, but when I got here it was in Italian. Luckily it had a popup in the toolbar asking me to use google translator and it worked fine. Then Iwent to the next page and it was back in Italian, but this time no google translator. I even went back to the previous page and it lost its translationnas well. Anyone know how to get the translator to work properly? I am using the latest Google Chome to visit this site. Safari had no translator options when I tried it. Thanks for any help -=Mark=- This is the post I was trying to read. 10.10.3 + win 7, GA-Z97-HD3, i5 4690 - Page 16 - Desktop ...
3. The config.plist.zip won't download. It says it can't find it.

Hackintosh Build

What will you be using your machine for? Your system looks fine, although I'd call it more of a low end machine with the integrated graphics. GTX 760 should put you at mid/high range for gaming needs. I use the i3-4340 3.3GHz for my general purpose computer with a GTX 650 for basic gaming and internet stuff and movies. but all-in-all everything looks fine for installation.

Clover General discussion

I need some help setting up Clover on my Asus Q87M-E. I tried installing chimera through abother instaler, but it refuses to boot chimera at all and send me to the BIOS. I now have tried installing Clover with the autoinstaller from my previous chimera install booted from usb, to my secondary HDD. I chose the UEFI option only on the clover install as it suggested to do first. When booting, I press F8 for the boot menu and select UEFI OS (My 2TB HDD) then I get a blank blue screen with a bunch of text output. I have the option to select with my arrow keys a list of boot types and seem my 2TB Hdd and try to boot, but it hangs on a black screen immediately. I'm not very familiar with any of the options and no clue which to select. Is there, hopefully, some basic options Asus motherboards like? also, I'm using my evga GTX 650 video card. Will it need special configuration as well, or should I use integrated video (HD 4600) instead, until I get this booting properly? Thanks for any help -=Mark=- Please move this thread to the appropriate section if I'm posting in the wrong section. My rig is in my sig.

Strange boot0:error

I did try that on my second hdd, but disk utility wouldn't let me format the partition1 to anything but max. I couldn't find a way to shrink it down either. Maybe I'll try the usb method. It's a big pain the way it is now as I can't muti-boot without switching my monitor to/from VGA all the time as I can't see the BIOS in VGA mode as it boots in dvi for OS X.. Is there a link on setting up the flash drive? I would much rather do it that way, and I don't have my OS X configured yet as I've been woking on a friends PC and have had my OS X offline for a few days now so I can just wipe the hdd is needed. Dummy me forgot to bookmark the thread, but they were talking about switching the BIOS on the card. It had software on the CD only to do it and it wasn't availble to download anywhere else. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the Mac edition and they got it into an EFI mode iirc and it installed 10.8.3 without issues. Even AA and sleep worked iirc. If I get ambitious, I may search for it again as I may try it on my 7950 as the new SimCity is coming to Mac in June and I will probably throw in a spare hdd and play it on my gaming rig. It has been released for some time. I almost ordered it when I bought my 7950, but I use os x on my seconday rig I use for all OSes and playing around and it is a low powered rig so it only gets video cards without pcie power connectors. Anyway, the mac version was like 50% more than the standard sapphire 7950. If I'm lucky someone will copy the mac vbios and it'll be compatible. Thanks for the help -=Mark=-

Strange boot0:error

I got it working somewhat. I read the new 7xxx have issues due to some memory allocation or something. Forgot to bookmark it. Their solution was add a second, known working, video card in the 7750 place and put 7750 in second x16 slot and boot. It worked the first time, but on reboot it defaulted the second slot as primary and gave me the boot error0. My solution was make the IGFX as primary and enabled in BIOS. Now it stays on IGFX at boot and 7750 works 100% except enabling AA borks video. I tried disabling IGFX, while keeping IGFX as primary like other have suggests, but the BIOS freaks out and resets the two bios settings back to auto. In summary, BIOS Settings are: Init Display First - IGFX Internal Graphics - Enabled 7750 - Still in second x16 slot, but should be fine in slot 1. Luck -=Mark=- ps, I also read the Sapphire 7xxx has a switch in them for issue free install and need no special settings. I guess Sapphire must be working with Apple, and most likely making the Mac version cards for them.

Strange boot0:error

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have the exact same issue as poster and I just added my 7750 after updating to 10.8.3. I've tried every boot0 fix, even connected a second hdd and installed ML to it as well, so I could run ##### 5.2.1 on secondary drive and Chameleon Wizard (updated to 2.2), and still I get the error0 messages. I did however put my GT 610 that was in originally, and it booted up without issue. I am assuming the 7750 is interfering somehow. I can boot straight into ML with ##### 1.7.0 and it seems to install my card without issues. My last attempt installing fresh was to install chimera bootloader only with ##### 5.2.1 and instantly got error0 messages. My exact errors were: error0: GPT error0: test error0: test error0: done (then 4 lines of ascii text) -=Mark=- ps, where's the spell checker? hopefully I got it right the first time.

screen save stuck on.

I just installed Mac OS X 10.6.3 on my hackintosh using ##### - ##### and I was downloading the 10.6.5 update and it was going so slow it said 3hrs before complete. I went afk and when I came back the monitor went to sleep. When I woke it up I get a message say,"You cannot use the Random screen saver with this version of Mac OS X. Please contact the vendor to get a newer version of this screen saver." This message will not go away. Is there a special key combination to get back to the desktop? I have a standard USB keyboard (i.e. no MAC button). -=Mark=-

Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3

I just got my H55N-USB3 ready for install with my 10.6.3 disc. Can you provide any details on your success or some links? -=Mark=-
11. Sorry for such a newb thread, but I couldn't seem to find a newb guide to install on a hackintosh anywhere. I've tried this on both of my computers with no luck. System #1(target system): GigaByte H55N-USB3 Intel i3-550 4GB G. skill DDR3-1600 ECO RAM PowerColor 5670 Go Green 1GB System #2(Gaming Rig): eVGA X58-SLI LE Intel i7 920 6GB Corsair DDR3-1600 PowerColor 5870 LCS Any help will be greatly appreciated. -=Mark=- ps. I have a VMWare of Mac OS x 10.5.5 if that will work for any prep work. I have a spare empty hard drive as well if that makes life easier.
12. Thank you for the link. It will come in handy. You wouldn't by chance have a link for installing 10.6 on my hard drive direct? I have multiple hard drives and would prefer a non-vmware install. I was just running this for testing and seeing if I wanted to buy it or not. BTW, I have an H55 board with a i3-550 processor and 4GB of RAM plus a Powercolor HD5670 Go Greed edition video card. I assume it will work from all the articles I've been reading, but expect some tweaking to do it. Thanks again -=Mark=-
13. Thanks for the file, I was able to get it running on my vmware workstation 7.1.2 on Win 7 Ult. x64 with a GigaByte H55N-USB3, i5-655K, and a PowerColor 5670 Go Green video card. I decided to go ahead and order it from Apple as it's only $29. I have two issues with vmware version: 1st I'm stuck at 1024x768 resolution and no other resolution is listed. 2nd I can't update anything as it won't accept the password of password. I even tried the original Xelabo and xelabo without luck. I downloaded this version for testing: @tpb/torrent/4798016/MAC_OS_X_Leopard_10.5.5_VMware_Image Also, the name was user. Should I have a different name? This also had some strange language. It looked Russian or something, but I was able to get it to English with a little googling. If this is invalid, does anyone have a valid link?
