Sakis194
I'm thinking of buying DeLock 89346 PCI Express Card for set up a vlan - port trunking with 2x Gigabit ethernet (Full Duplex), will I have any problems with recent macOS versions like Big Sur using Mieze/RTL8111?Manufacturer link
HenryV
One of the biggest factors is whether the chip in your card is supported. The actual chip or Integrated Circuit as opposed to the brand of the card. Look here: https://github.com/Mieze/RTL8111_driver_for_OS_X/releases https://github.com/Mieze/RTL8111_driver_for_OS_X/releases/download/V2.3.0/RealtekRTL8111-V2.3.0.zip Research whether your intended switch hardware supports static/dynamic allocated ports for your anticipated VLAN needs. Additionally, whether you would benefit from a smart router that can tag VLAN packets if you are trunking to a main router/gateway.
