rich_mark 1 Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 I have recently installed the new macOS Big Sur version 11 on my iMac. It took several hours to complete. Now the Time Machine has zero files in the backup. Did I do something wrong? Downgrading the macOS will help me to get back my Time Machine backup? Any lead would be appreciated. namthienvo
pepitillo 11 Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Hello, I have tested today Time machine and macOS told me that the backups were made from another computer. Claiming the backups fixed the issue (there's a dialog that macOS promts). IDK if is your case. rich_mark
Ethan Jarvis 2 Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Did you check the size of your Time Machine disk? I think the backup might still be there. rich_mark
