rich_mark
I have recently installed the new macOS Big Sur version 11 on my iMac. It took several hours to complete. Now the Time Machine has zero files in the backup. Did I do something wrong? Downgrading the macOS will help me to get back my Time Machine backup? Any lead would be appreciated. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/345980-why-is-my-time-machine-backup-missing-after-macos-big-sur-11-update/ Share on other sites
pepitillo
Hello, I have tested today Time machine and macOS told me that the backups were made from another computer. Claiming the backups fixed the issue (there's a dialog that macOS promts). IDK if is your case. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/345980-why-is-my-time-machine-backup-missing-after-macos-big-sur-11-update/#findComment-2746691 Share on other sites
Ethan Jarvis
Did you check the size of your Time Machine disk? I think the backup might still be there. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/345980-why-is-my-time-machine-backup-missing-after-macos-big-sur-11-update/#findComment-2747212 Share on other sites
