Shattre 0 Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone! Migrated from Clover to OpenCore yesterday as Clover decide to go f*** himself without much of a reason (screen started to blink and voila, im on OC now). Anyway still got some issues with OC, with dual display: - ASUS 32" doesn't work with native resolution of 1440p (only 1080p which looks terrible) - every restart it crashes, then it restarts again and the big screen (ASUS 32) is off then it will load So whole issue right now is sadly with that monitor and to make it work. Crash in IMG file So anyway, happy to be here, hopefully I will be some of help to some other people that also tried to work with Z87-Pro, i7-4770K Edited October 15, 2020 by Shattre replaced img
eSaF 1,139 Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 To have a good transition from Clover to OC, you must clean all aspects of Clover from your machine, reset the Nvram and then you should be good to go. Good starting point is here - https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/ Good luck.
Shattre 0 Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 @eSaF thanks for response. I literally formatted drive where Clover was also cleaned NVRAM.
Shattre 0 Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 figured out. just keep platform-id everything else makes more issues than helps still have an issue with dual display where if both enabled (different res) it crashes booting
