This is my first time I use Opencore bootloader, I boot with an EFI folder from some youtuber, just add my ethernet kext and make some little changes to config.plist and installed Big Sur on my machine - asrock a320m pro4, ryzen 3 2200g, 8gb ram. Everything works instead of the sound. I tried with boot args alcid 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 28, 31, 90, 92, 97, 99 and nothing work. On the same machine in High Sierra with Clover I have sound. I'm not sure what to change and what to try. Here is my EFI folder.

I post my EFI in the first post. Now I tried with VoodooHDA and half volume fix and I have sound, but it's still lower than normal and not so good. I'm not sure what to customise in config.plist for my setup but right now it boots a little bit slower.

Its good if you try run OC Build from Pavo Github page. And take a look on Dortania instruction for Build a OC for your config. Try OC Gen too from Pavo.

Always that you change your EFI from OC, its necessary Reset Nvram. Type space key on boot, and choose Reset Nvram.

And if is possible, use only ONE FOLDER from EFI, 2 modules is because you run 2 folders EFI or not Reset Nvram.

You can try to add AudioDxe.efi in your config.plist file whithin the drivers section. Can you post your clover EFI folder ?

You posted OpenCore Efi, I ask for the Clover EFI you use for High Sierra.

You can try this config.plist and put Audiodxe.efi in Drivers folder.

config.plist

AudioDxe.efi

I add AudioDxe.efi and tried again with AllpleALC.kext, edit my config.plist, changed layout=id on Nvram and I have sound, but only from my monitor (from HDMI), and sound is really bad, choppy and noisy. Can't detect my build-in audio. With VoodooHDA as i says everything works, but sound is lower than normal.

Install AppleALC kext inside your EFI FOLDER.
