Mo Gaffar
Hey... this is my first time working with a mac and i have to admit i really like it.. but im kinda upset about the 6gb partition.. so i went and looked around n i read i could create a image of the Deadmoo install and then restore it to a larger partition.. My computer is a 3.0ghz patched with maxuss sse3... it has 2 harddrives first 120gb with windows and the second is a 250.. with 200 gbs for jsut random stuff.. 6 gb partition for mac.. and a 30gb for another mac install ...*** where i would like to restore the image*** when i go to disk utility to create a image of the mac partition on the 250gb i get... Cannot create tiger-x86.dmg... resource busy.. can someone help me.. thanks -Mo
Druid
If I am correct the method you are referring to requires two deadmoo installs, one to use to create image from the other. It seems you have a decent amount of hard drive space, I figured out a method of installing the generic iso to like a 20 gb size in vmware, then writing it to a hard drive with dd....not sure if you wanna try that route..?
