I also have a X299 motherboard: MSI X299 SLI Plus. I was able to install with a custom RTC0: Send a screenshot of your OC folder tree and your config.plist. Since this is about X299, perhaps use my thread above? OP, sorry, I can't help you here. I don't have a Haswell.
