My configuration is the following: Motherboard: ASUS HB81-PLUS (https://www.asus.com/it/Motherboards/H81PLUS/specifications/) CPU: Intel i5-4570 @ 3.20 GHz (https://ark.intel.com/content/www/it/it/ark/products/75043/intel-core-i5-4570-processor-6m-cache-up-to-3-60-ghz.html) I have double checked that: CSM is off in the BIOS ig-platform-id and device-id are valid if running an iGPU. Tried with and without -igfxmlr boot flag I am using OpenCore 0.5.9 as boot loader. And I am using VGA to connect my monitor, as it is the only video out available for my motherboard. oliveryuan Posted June 9, 2020 Share Posted June 9, 2020 I couldn't find any method to fix it, so what I do was to install macOS Catalina into a 32 GB USB, then boot from there, and back up my information, then reformat the hard drive, install sierra and put my information back.
