Hi guys

im trying to make a proper macOS build for these specs

i9 9900k

asus z390 gaming e rog strix

16gb Corsair 3200mhz

intend to use igpu

has anyone accomplished that with similar specs?

i managed to install macOS on my ssd but too many issues, WiFi/Bluetooth which is built in didn’t work, igpu showed only 7mb , sound and Ethernet didn’t work and more..

*if its not the place for it, sorry in advance

very close to mine, should be easy to do... I am using OpenCore 5.8

BIOS settings are important

Your WiFi/Bluetooth have no drivers, you will need to a purchase a supported option, I spent $30 on a Apple PCI card, works out of the box

Sound and ethernet work, you just need to use the proper kexts.

hi, thank you for replying!

did you made the bootable from mac or windows? (which way is the best?)

i think ill make a whole new installation but the thing is, i used the kexts that fits my hardware (from youtube guy who has the same build) but still seems to be unresponsive, also the display is awful its like my 144hz monitor is working on 29hz

The link above had all the guide you need, I have a real Mac Book Pro so I made the USB boot from that but you can use Windows too, its in the guide.. Your graphics just need fine tuning, I had it working 4k @ 60Hrz
