Ender Wiggin Posted November 28, 2006 Share Posted November 28, 2006 Hi there, I've just got my new X1650 PRO and I can't get it working on JaS 10.4.8. I took out the borrowed Asus X1600 HDMI which worked perfectly, and installed the Sapphire. Then hell began! I tried installing the Neo's 3.6 installer for 8.8.1 kernel. No succes. Black screen on all the DVI ports, whether using a DVI or DVI2VGA adapter I deleted all the ATI Kext, copied them form the installation DVD, tried editing just the ATINDRV.kext, as suggested in the forum for the X1600 XT, and also edited the ATIX1000.kext with the right values for my card. No succes. All I got was a black screen with a mouse cursor over it. After that I've tried editing the ATIRadeonX1000GA.plugin. Still no succes. What more can I do? How can I get my card working? Ender Wiggin Posted November 30, 2006 Author Share Posted November 30, 2006 Ok, I tried Natit Uni from NeoPheus (thanks dude), and now it's kinda' working. I have video output with DVI2VGA adapter, but it does not recognize my monitor and it displays a generic list of resolutions for "VGA Monitor". My native resolution, 1440x900 is not available.
