Hi,

Every time I run the terminal app this is what I see:

Last login: Sun May  3 10:27:00 on ttys002

: command not found

: command not found

: command not found

: command not found

: command not found

The default interactive shell is now zsh.

To update your account to use zsh, please run `chsh -s /bin/zsh`.

Not sure how to fix this so it comes up clean?

Thanks!

There are a few major reasons for command not found an error

  • Command syntax incorrectly

  • Command not installed

  • Command was deleted or modified from the system directory

  • Users $PATH is incomplete, or $PATH has been erroneously set, reset, or cleared

Use this command and press enter - export PATH="/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin”

Hopefully it will help you. For more details check here - https://osxdaily.com/2018/05/24/command-not-found-mac-terminal-error-fix/

Type this into your terminal:

nano ~/.bash_profile

Do you see anything in that file?
