rdsgalid
Hi, Trying to boot with OpenCore 0.5.6 for Catalina 10.15.3. The last bootlog report is "OCSMC: SmcReadValue Key 4D534163 Size 2", then nothing! STOPS. Anyone knows this is related to what problem? Thanks! Morpheus NS
I had the same problem, I solved it but I don't know what causes it. The only thing that helped me was making the whole installer again. Everything from scratch. I downloaded Catalina, created the installer using -createinstallmedia method, placed OpenCore files, kexts and drivers on EFI partition and made config.plist again. I made everything exactly the same as before but this time there was no error. EDIT, explanation: This was USB installer, I used it to boot my existing macOS partition. I know it seems ridiculous, but making OpenCore folder from scratch didn't help, only making the whole installer from scratch. Maybe it is some sort of corruption on the partition, I don't know. You should enter your configuration in your signature, maybe it helps troubleshooting.
