rottenpants
Another issue I have is waking up the laptop (it never worked with clover as well). When it wakes up I get a black screen with the backlight on and a mouse cursor and nothing else. Followed the official configuration from OpenCore to the letter. I also used this guide as well: https://dortania.github.io/vanilla-laptop-guide/ Don't know what else to do. HP Pavilion 14-bf104np CPU: i7 8550U (Kabylake Refresh) GPU: UHD 620 RAM: 16GB DDR4 WIFI/BLuetooth: Replaced the intel card with a Broadcom one DW1560 Everything else works If someone is willing to help me I will leave here my EFI folder (removed some smbios stuff) Thank you EFI.zip bootlog.txt DSDT.aml Edited April 24, 2020 by rottenpants Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/343484-hp-laptop-wake-from-sleep-not-working/ Share on other sites

What do you mean by no kext plugins in config.plist? I double checked the kexts folder and I think I have them all in the config kernel-add Thank you for responding Andrey Edited April 18, 2020 by rottenpants Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/343484-hp-laptop-wake-from-sleep-not-working/#findComment-2718113 Share on other sites

Ok this is what I did: copied those kexts from the plugins folder and pasted them in the EFI-OC-Kexts folder. Then I added them in the config.plist and it worked!! thank you Now the missing thing is waking the laptop properly Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/343484-hp-laptop-wake-from-sleep-not-working/#findComment-2718122 Share on other sites

Tried to change smbios, APL,ig-platform-id/device-id, tested disabling some kexts, disabling some acpi patches but no luck.... Recently I got this sleep wake error after I hard rebooted the laptop Power button pressed during wake transition after 4742 ms.
