At the end of recent Catalina update I was presented with the message that macOS cannot be installed as bless tool is unable to select boot disk. Installation actually completed but Install folder and entry in Clover remains. This of course can be manually deleted. The problem is that if you go to Startup Disk app in System Prefs you will get same error. Also if you try to repair boot SSD it will also give as error. This happened to people with nVME and SATA SSD’s. luki1979 Posted April 18, 2020 Author Share Posted April 18, 2020 Found fix sudo fsck_msdos disk0s1 then y and y Now you can try repairing disk in Disk Utility and it will succeed.
