TorqueX86 Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 Hi there, Tried 2 cards, one with VIA 6212L and 6202 chipsets but alas no luck. With the 6212L chipset GUI doesnt even start, and with the 6202 chipset it boots fine and recognises the card, but I can't attach anything to is. I'd love to have the 6212L card working as it has an internal USB port that I would use for the Bluetooth dongle. Please advise. *EDIT*: I swapped PCI slot and for some reason now the 6212L Card boots properly and is recognised as USB High Speed hub in System Profiler. Still no luck though with any device connected to it. All blank, as if nothing at all was connected... gotoh Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 you should try a card with a nec controller. In PPC world, OS X handles nec controllers much better. I got one like this in my Digital Audio and will try it in my hackintosh. I'll let you know how it works... The PCI card is not seen in ASP, but USB tab reports the high speed USB and connecting Terratec cinergy T2 USB2 DVBT) just works fine with eyeTV So If you need USB2, you want a card like this one...
