McAlex Posted February 16, 2020 Share Posted February 16, 2020 (edited) Hi My Dell Inspiron 7591 works fine without any APTIO fixes, however I need to get fwruntimeservices.kext working as a step to get NVRAM working. Please see screenshots below for the full detail and crash when I boot. . Note I have tried deleting Lilu and VirtualSMC from the EFI folder (already in extensions folder) and this made no differnce. I'm using Clover and Catalina 10.15.3 Please help..! McAlex Posted February 17, 2020 Author Share Posted February 17, 2020 Well I'm guessing I'm not doing too bad with this installation as 10th gen Intel is not supported. It's all working except: fwruntime services not working (as above). NVRAM not working. Trackpad works but is not recognised as a trackpad (Voodoo solutions not working, gestures not working). Displayport external monitors duplicate rather than have separate desktops. Touchscreen not working. USB3 not identified (haven't looked at this yet). Probably won't hibernate. If anybody has a 10th gen Dell 7591 i7 laptop please chime in, or anybody working on 10th gen. Thx. Works for my other hackintosh but not for this laptop. I think I need to get FwRuntimeServices.efi working first.
