Hello,

I am a new user on InsanelyMac forum, following OSx86 since it's early start (my first Hackintosh was on an Intel D945GCLF2D motherboard with an Atom CPU running a custom kernel by Prasys (thank you!).

Over the years, I've always kept a Hacintosh among my other systems (Amigas, Wintel and Linux boxes), following the evolution up to High Sierra (my main Hackintosh system).

I was always using (except from the Atom system) a dedicated GPU (nVidia mostly) without having to deal with iGPUs with great success and no serious issues thanks to the wealth of information provided here (I am more of a search and read user, as I do try to use every available information before asking).

Recently I got a gift of a cheap mini PC (XCY X30) which has a i7-4650U Haswell ULT CPU (with an Intel HD 5000 GPU, ID 0x0A268086) and I am trying to install Catalina on it (since my main system cannot upgrade to Catalina without forcing me to remove the nVidia GTX 1030).

I've managed to perform a clean vanila install of 10.15.1 on the X30 but I cannot make the iGPU work with graphics acceleration.

I've followed the excellent guides by @headkaze for Hackintool and Intel FB patching guide and managed to boot the system using only Device Properties, without any Clover injections using iMac14,4 SMBIOS.

However, the HD5000 is not properly activated (no acceleration and reports only 7MB on the About this Mac) but I have display output on both the VGA and HDMI ports of the motherboard.

The X30 has an OEM motherboard based on Intel Crescent Bay running Ami BIOS (it has full UEFI support). It has many options and I have unlocked MSR, disabled VT-d and I can change the iGPU DVMT prealloc up to 512MB but it does not seem to help enabling the iGPU acceleration. The audio codec is ALC662 and I have sound from the 3.5" Line-Out port but not from HDMI as I cannot enable the connectors as shown in the guide (they do not get "detected with red colur" by Hackintool).

I could use some help in making the iGPU work (and play sound via HDMI), I am trying different things every day for over a week now and I am losing hope in this thing.

I know that there must be something wrong with what I do following the guides and it's not the system to blame (i.e both Linux and Windows have full graphics acceleration and sound via HDMI).

I am attaching a CPU-Z report for the system, my (masked) config.plist and a full system dump (including Clover ACPI dumps) in hope that someone could help me make this system work as it would make a very good and affordable Hackintosh machine.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

If this post is wrongly here, please move it to the correct place.
