Hey people, i've a problem than i cannot solve, i already tried replace IOATAFamily.kext, delete Extensions.kextcache and .mkext, but not works. When boot start, i press F8 and type -f -s, after the single mode is loaded, i only type "exit" and the OS X start. But if i not enter with -f -s, the boot stop and i get the message "Still waiting for root device", after some USB error messages.

I need of help, guys give me it. :hysterical:

can add -f for apple.com.Boot.plist? What are the problems than i can have if i always start the system with -f ?

Yes, go to boot.plist and modify as follows:

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string>
-f
</string>

No problems booting with -f. Will take a little more time just like when you delete the extensions.mkext and extensions.kextcache. But not much extra time.
