acquarius13
Hi everyone,it is my really first post here, so I apologize if it will be not perfect. As the subject of my topic, I have a random issue occurring during boot: sometimes the screen keep it stuck on hp logo during boot and anything else (apparently) happens. Something is actually occurring in the machine, since I cannot do anything else apart switching it off and on retrying the boot.On the contrary, at boot success, it is very fast and smooth. To improve my signature and to let you know something about my hack, I have a sata ssd where I keep the EFI partition and macOS 10.14.6 and an M.2 SSD where I have the Windows stuff.Any possible idea on this bug? I put as attachment the debug files.Hope to hear from youRegards,Marco debug_25146.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/340506-hp-probook-450-g5-clover-boot-issue/ Share on other sites
acquarius13
Thank you so much @Hervé! I appreciate all of your suggests in order to improve my settings. I will try to do by myself. If I'm not able to do so, I will ask how to do. Do these issues represent the problem I tried to explain on the original post? Thanks again Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/340506-hp-probook-450-g5-clover-boot-issue/#findComment-2691875 Share on other sites
acquarius13
So, first of all I changed the SMBIOS from 11,1 to 15,1 and I've completely lost the VGA port that was previously working... acquarius13
Dear @Hervé, finally I hope I found my solution: I deactivated bitlocker in windows and put the clover entry back to the bios from clover shell and now it seems to work. Secondly, if I try an SMBIOS different than 11,1 I lose the bluetooth (and VGA, of course). Don't know why. I generated my USBPorts.kext and deleted the USBInjectAll.kext. The guide tells about using the kext or SSDT-UIAC, not both. Is that correct? May I upload my generated USBPorts.kext and tell me if it is all ok? Thanks a lot M Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/340506-hp-probook-450-g5-clover-boot-issue/#findComment-2693117 Share on other sites
