Vyzantion
Finally success on Catalina install. It was a hard nut to crack, the hardest macOS to get going. Thank you to all the developers and people in here who made this possible, keep it going. My old machine shall see another year of life. If Apple shall not change to kernel of the next macOS, it may see even another, but probably this is the last macOS this hardware will be able to get. This is a combination of the method from here with the dosdude1 app. Hardware specs: Asus P5P41TED Intel Core2Duo E8500 2 gb ddr3 Nvidia GeForce 6500. @Slice (but not only him) One issue still remains unsolved: in the vanilla Catalina, internal hard-drives are invisible. Slice said something about changed kexts and this is probably the real. I have bypassed this using the dosdude1 patch app. I see that not all hackintoshers would choose this combination and the issue may affect others as well. RehabMan seems to have disappeared from the whole internet for. a while, his work needs to be continued by other people, especially FakeSMC. If it helps in any way, I can try to get f2 boot reports and IOREG ones. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/340309-finally-success/ Share on other sites
