I'm almost there, my current attempt on hackintoshing my laptop is going great, with almost every hardware working properly (even wifi is working, but sadly no bluetooth =/) But i'm randomly having this issue, that occurs most frequently when i watch a lot of gifs, or other graphically intense thing on my web browser (Strangely it does not happen when watching videos). Suddenly all the texts and icons are scrambled and i need to restart the computer to fix it (Sometimes restarting just the app solves the problem). Any ideas on how to fix this? My laptop is a Asus S46CB (i7 3537u, 8GB, Intel HD4000 + GT750m (Just the intel GPU works)) and i'm using a dual monitor setup through hdmi. 'not required with Lilu + WEG kexts which take care of everything Kernel & Kexts Patches tab: get rid of KernelPm + KernelXCPM; 'not required on Ivy Bridge, especially if you run with CPU-specific power management SSDT as recommended just above get rid of (or disable) those binary patched for AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy; 'not required afaik on HD4000 graphics Now regarding those kexts you inject, ouh!, where do I start??? once you've generated your CPU-specific power management SSDT, get rid of NullCPUPowerManagement; that'll be one of the main reasons for your issues since, with that in place and loaded, you have to SpeedStep at all. update Lilu + WEG + AppleALC + ACPÏBatteryManagement + CodecCommander to latest versions; you're using old versions at the moment. get rid of VoodooHDA; you're trying to run with AppleALC !!! get rid of AppleBacklightInjector + IntelGraphicsFixup old kexts. 'not required and obsolete/useless when you run with latest Lilu + WEG for HD4000 graphics get rid of all those XHCI injector kexts; 'irrelevant to your platform which is Ivy Bridge and therefore does not have any of those chipsets... identify your LAN + wireless cards and, once you know what you have, install/inject the relevant kexts; right now it's like you threw anything you could find at it: ATH9KFixup.kext + ATH9KInjector.kext + AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext + IntelMausiEthernet.kext + RealtekRTL8111.kext + SmallTreeIntel82576.kext same for your keyboard + touchpad: identify what you have and then install the relevant kexts; at present you have ApplePS2SmartTouchPad (with its PlugIns inside) + VoodooPS2Controller (with its PlugIns inside) + VoodooPS2Keyboard + VoodooPS2Trackpad Kind of a mini-miracle that it worked at all... Thanks for trying to help, i did all these changes, but unfortunately now i'm getting a KP on boot... I probably did something wrong, but i don't know what. So... i've managed restore my previous EFI backup, and after redoing all of those steps, and after learning how to patch wege to work with my hardware, i was finally able to put almost everything to work properly. I don't know yet if the initial problem of graphics glitching is solved because it happens randomly, but i'm confident that it probably is fixed. There is only one last problem i was not able to fix, and that is audio... My codec is ALC270, and i was not able to make it work with AppleALC. So i'm still using VoodooHDA. Thank you so much for your help, and if you have any tips on how to fix my audio, i'll be really grateful. The second one, i really don't know, it was already there from a previous attempt of fixing this same problem. Anyway, i removed both, and the problem still remains.
