Macpro3.1 Posted July 22, 2019 Share Posted July 22, 2019 Iv always wondered about the temperatures of this mac being 11 years of age. I believe it still has the original CPU paste in it. It sports 2x 2.8ghz intel quad core xeon processors. When i render in final cut im getting 100% full load on all 8 cores. Getting 45 degrees celcius but with full fan speeds. Noise is loud but id rather have low temps. I dont mind about the noisy fans aslong as it gives me low temps. Is 45-46 deg. Celsius low on full CPU load for an 11 year old computer running, possibly, stock paste? thanks in advance.
