Gerry_W
Hello all, Well, I've built my mosheen using a Gigabyte GA-965G-DS3, among other things. I've been contemplating installing OSx86 on it, but as far as I know no one has done so with my board. I got it because of the onboard video (I'm not planning to OC), but it looks like this may lead to difficulties down the road. Can anyone help me out? Will there be much of a difference between OSx86ing this and the 965P? Thanks, Gerry
thedguy
This has been asked before, and the only difference is the fact that you have onboard graphics. Which to my knowledge isn't fully supported. Might I suggest grabbing 10.4.8 and try installing it. Just follow the extra instructions I have in the tutorial and then search the forum and see if the onboard video is support. I think it's the GMA9000 video chipset. Cliffton Beach
I installed on that board. I talk about it in the ga-965p-ds3 thread. You'd be best advised to continue in it, as it is essentially our board, minus onboard gfx. There's probably a thread for them somewhere.

Gerry_W
Yes, I suppose I should have looked through the whole thread. Thanks, SABR. Anyway, I'll install me some 10.4.8 and see what happens. Thanks guys. If anything goes wrong, I'll know who to bother.
