cmaster
Hi everyone, Brand new to this forum, and excited to be here! Unfortunately, I'm struggling to get Mojave installed on the following hardware: Motherboard: Asus TUF Z390M-Pro Gaming (Wi-Fi) CPU: Intel i5-9600K RAM: 32gb Corsair Vengenace 2667MHz (Disabled XMP, so running slower) Graphics: Intel UHD 630 (no discrete GPU) SSD: HP EX950 M.2/NVMe 1 TB I have followed a combination of both this install guide, and this post (mostly used that config.plist) in attempting to set this thing up. My kexts are the following: whatevergreen.kext VirtualSMC.kext usbinjectall.kext lilu.kext intelmausiethernet.kext AppleALC.kext I have also included the following EFI drivers: OsxAptioFix2Dr-64.efi EmuVariableUefi-64.efi NvmExpressDxe-64.efi HFSPlus.efi AptioMemoryFix-64.efi ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi Boot options: dart=0 debug=0x100 keepsyms=1 shikigva=40 -v Product: iMac18,1 For the BIOS, I loaded optimized defaults and set the following five changes: Advanced\System Agent (SA) Configuration\VT-d - Disabled Advanced\System Agent (SA) Configuration\Above 4G - Decoding Enabled Advanced\USB Configuration\Legacy USB Support - Disabled Advanced\USB Configuration\XHCI Hand-off - Disabled Boot\Fast boot - Disabled The Problem: Every time I try to install Mojave, I can boot from the USB (2.0) stick -> I get the install screen -> select language -> wipe the SSD with Disk Utility -> and proceed with the install. The problem is at 2 minutes remaining/~70%, the system restarts and I'm left with the following screen briefly (see attached). When the system restarts and I can continue with the installation, it takes me back to the start with language selection and accepting the TOS. I've spent quite a bit of time trying to fix this to no avail. Any help will be appreciated! Picasso
Disconnect all discs except the SSD disk. If not disks, check in Oralia Instalation if these are the correct EFI drivers for your NVME: OsxAptioFix2Dr-64.efi EmuVariableUefi-64.efi NvmExpressDxe-64.efi HFSPlus.efi AptioMemoryFix-64.efi ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339256-mojave-asus-tuf-z390m-epic-failure-to-this-point/#findComment-2679140 Share on other sites
