macmaniac
I have an ASUS EN7300 GT The card is working. My Hackintosh is working great with the latest JaS 10.4.8 Mifki or Semthex, both work great. Unfortunately, no CI/QE joy..... 0x0393 EDID 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 17 07 00 00 00 00 0A 0A 01 01 0C 1E 17 BE E8 2D C9 A0 57 47 98 27 12 48 4C 00 00 00 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 I have tried every pet solution posted in all the many threads (usually editing NVDANV40Hal & NVDAResman kexts). I have tried every Titan and Natit version available. The best I could do was a black screen with mouse pointer. Either that, or "out of frequency" or kernel panics. I put too many late nights into it. I ready to open my wallet...er paypal account...... FWIW I bought the 7300 thinking that it should be easy, given that an apple version of the 7300 ships stock in the 24" imac and the base macpro. macmaniac
I understand. But its not really desperation, its frustration. I've put a lot of time into this, and I know when I'm beat. What I'm worried about is that Titan/Natit is working for 80-90% , and there won't be the impetus to get it going for the remaining 10%. Kinda like an SSE2 SSE3 thang..... ......ok, not quite, SSE2 is kinda old...... Whats wrong with paying? Capitalism hard at work! I've learned a lot of command line stuff since coming to this board, a lot about unix, and a lot about the inner workings of OSX since I've come to this board. I'm thankful. And lately, I've learned to type sudo mv /disabled/GeForce.kext /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce.kext faster than anybody. But I simply don't know enough to figure out the problem. I'm happy to donate to any worthwhile cause, especially one that gets a universal plug and play Titan/Natit kext up and running with a detailed/foolproof (jeez, thats the tough part ) installation guide.
