Dc3p0
Hi there I am playing cod2 on my imac and have tried to o/c the vid card to factory standards of other 7600gt 560/700 but as the Apple like to down clock the vid card to 500/600. Once set at the nvidia specs the card sends out a collection of artifacts that ruin the games. I am wondering what is the best o/c for an Imac at present 520/620 works well. I am wondering if the apple guys applied the thermal paste correctly or is it a possibility to dissaaemble the imac and clean and re-apply. The second alternative is having the fan run faster on the gpu even though in nvclock is set at max already but i cannot hear any discernable difference once a 3d game is started. Please could do with some sensible advice here. I even wondered if peltier cooling external of the imac at the gpu location would help......ahhhhh the madness. If anyone wants to know the stable clock i received is 530/630 with no artifacts in the windows world of gaming. Dc3p0
Thats the whole problem as the artifacts that are generated from the card when o/c are quick to show.
