Help! My Hackintosh Cannot Shut Down!

2 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

I bought a new PCI usb 3.0 adapter few days ago, and I installed a driver call “GenericXHCI” to get USB 3.0 working. But after that, it cannot shut down. I will restart automatically every time if I press the shutdown button.

Please help me with this strange issue, thanks a lot.

Spoke with you on Discord and figured out you were using a tonymac product. That is not supported here. The driver you're using also has not been developed since El Captain.

I'd suggest you pick up a card that is supported native...
