This is the hardware i'm going to get: Asus P5GD1, Intel915G Corsair twinx 1gb 3200xl Intel Pentium 4 640 Will this hardware work 100% ? I allready have this hardwre: Nec DVD Writer Benq 19" LCD Waccom pad HP PSC Printer +++ Can i use my Western Digital Raptor 74GB 10.000 rpm SATA disk as system disk? Will mac apps like photoshop, illustrator and more work? Will hardware like my printer work, i have mac install cd... The most important question is: Will this hardwre funtion 100% and do a great job as my new workstation? With al the posibillities a real mac or pc have? Cheers. blahsucks Posted October 10, 2005 Share Posted October 10, 2005 If you use that PC as a Mac, will it get the full capabilities? Short answer - No. Long answer - Yes and no. You will be able to launch Mac apps, but at a speed price, through the highly optimized QuickTransit-based Rosetta system. It's not as bad as you might think. SATA - maybe, maybe not. As far as printing goes, there seems to be very limited success in that area. You won't need to worry about the LCD.
