Sorry, wrong Forum!

I posted this topic again in "OSx86 Installation"!

Hi all,

I first installed MaxOS X on a spare harddisk 1st primary partition using only 6Gb which was created by

dding from a Windows PC. And I found out that this Mactified-Dell Notebook works quite as good as my PowerBook.

Now I want to put this partition on the regular harddisk, which is normally installed in this Notebook.

This harddisk has already 4 primary partitions (BootMagic FAT, WinXP Development, WinXP Audio and one extended Partition with lots of free storage room).

So, my first question is pretty easy. Is it somehow possible to boot MacOSX86 from a "primary partition" in an extended partition?

Because I didn't find out how to this above best way, I tried to replace the 3rd real primary partition (WinXP Audio) with the MacOSX86-Partition. But even this attempt failed. Altough Bootmagic started to boot and the

MacOSX86 grey Apple-Background bootscreen showed - this was all which happend.

Is there anything I need to change for the darwin-kernel to boot from a special partition?

Thanks.
