New install of 10.14.3

Everything works as far as I can tell. But the ethernet. I installed the IntelMausiEthernet-V2.4.0 and it works with the internet, but doesn't have complete functionality. The instructions for the IntelMausiEthernet-V2.4.0 say not to boot with npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000, as they interfere with the kext, but I can't get the system to boot without it. It gets stuck on PCI Begin.

Since 10.9 I've been using a PCI-E ethernet card to solve this problem, but I would like to try to get it to work. Any thoughts on what's making the build freeze? I've looked around and most post say to use the npc=ox2000 argument. But that won't work.

My config file is attached.

Thanks in advance

Sorry

Asus Sabertooth X79 Uses the Intel® 82579V, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller(s)

However the situation is resolved. I've always need two NIC cards, and the previous kexts for the intel NIC were not compatible with the kext for the internal NIC, so it was easier to just get two PCI-E cards.

Ever since leaving 10.9.x, I've had to use 2 TP-Link PCI-E cards and use the kext from realtec's site to get full functionality with a program production program I use. None of the kexts since 10.9.x have worked with the internal lan controllers and the second PCI-E card.

As I just discovered, IntelMausiEthernet-V2.4.0 kext works with the internal and PCI-E cards. Removing the RealtekRTL8111.kext that I had in the kexts-other folder, required for the PCI-E NIC, solved the problem.

Thanks
