I don't think that the modem works (no driver for it). For 56k modems you should use a RS232 Modem, for DSL a ethernet Modem could work (don't know exaxtly, I don't have one). These Modems don't need special drivers. Modem thoose need a driver will not work. The best ist to make yourself a router (if you don't have one) and surf via LAN.
