fruhy Posted January 1, 2019 Share Posted January 1, 2019 Hello, I have AMD Radeon RX580 Asus ROG Strix. I use this card with 3x 2560x1440 Dell monitors. And I have a problem with fan speed. This card have "passive mod". But this mod works very bad with 3 monitors... because fan start at 53°C, but my minimal temp is 50°C... So every 2 minutes fan start... My plan was re-flash bios with minimal fan speed (%) 40%. This solution works in Windows 10. But not in Mac OS Mojave... Why? If I write this code to terminal " while sleep 1; do clear;ioreg -l |grep \"PerformanceStatistics\" | cut -d '{' -f 2 | tr '|' ',' | tr -d '}' | tr ',' '\n'|grep 'Temp\|Fan\|Clock'; done " Terminal tell me "fan speed (%) 0%". Why? How is this possible? Mac OS ignoring bios information? I don't know how I fix this problem. Because it is only Mac OS problem... Somebody have any idea how to fix it? Thanks.
