eml6601 Posted December 8, 2018 Share Posted December 8, 2018 I previously posted this on tonymacx86 but am looking for any and all solutions so here it is "Hey all, Ive just recently done my first Hackintosh build and things have gone well, after doing some research I have had no luck finding any solutions to getting a proper restart or shutdown. When I want to shutdown the PC doesn't finish the shutdown process. Instead I have to push the power button. What happens instead is that macOS will shut down but the computer itself doesn't seem to shut down/reboot (PSU, GPU, CPU fans all still running). I have the shutdown fix enabled, but that doesn't seem to work either. And I believe my bios settings are correct."
