zeuscba
Board: Z77X-UD5h CPU: i7 3770K Using Intel HD4000 (until Nvidia release web drivers) Mojave 10.14.1 I'm trying to run the sleep mode as in my Sierra installation but I don't find what the problem is, some with this same board has managed to make it work? zeuscba
My particular problem with Sleep Mode is that the Mac go to the Sleep without apparent problem, but when I want to come back from that state only receive a black screen, with no disk reading at all. The terminal result of Wake Reason is 2018-10-16 01:53:58.879805-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EH02 2018-10-16 01:53:58.879806-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EH02 2018-10-16 12:24:00.755913-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-16 12:24:00.755914-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-16 14:57:47.979897-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-16 14:57:47.979898-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-16 22:19:00.847370-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: RTC (Alarm) 2018-10-16 22:19:00.847371-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: RTC (Alarm) 2018-10-16 23:11:14.317101-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-16 23:11:14.317103-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-17 14:07:14.031489-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-17 14:07:14.031491-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-17 14:29:47.484482-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-17 14:29:47.484483-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-17 16:20:08.356865-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: PWRB (User) 2018-10-17 16:20:08.356866-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: PWRB (User) 2018-10-17 16:32:52.282284-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: PWRB (User) 2018-10-17 16:32:52.282285-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: PWRB (User) 2018-10-17 17:10:49.214136-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: PWRB (User) 2018-10-17 17:10:49.214137-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: PWRB (User) 2018-10-18 21:26:47.879412-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC1 2018-10-18 21:26:47.879413-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC1 2018-10-18 22:44:39.039369-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-18 22:44:39.039371-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC2 2018-10-18 23:01:53.066122-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC1 2018-10-18 23:01:53.066124-0300 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EHC1 Send me iMac-de-Seba.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/336399-z77x-ud5h-mojave-sleep-dont-working/#findComment-2646636 Share on other sites

Taruga
I have the same board, I don't worry about sleep now but I think I had it fixed when I used to put my system to sleep. I think I had to change in bios: OS Type to Windows 8 WHQL CMS Support to Never and press a button in my 280x GFX to switch the dual bios from normal to EFI, the button looks like this: Edited November 9, 2018 by Taruga Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/336399-z77x-ud5h-mojave-sleep-dont-working/#findComment-2646721 Share on other sites
Taruga
This is an example image from GPU-Z that I remember using when I was testing this issue. In my case, it did not show up the UEFI check box checked, after pressing that button on the GFX card to switch bios, then GPU-Z showed UEFI checked like in this screenshot example. Fabiuzi
Hi guys, I have the same mobo and intel i3770K and Mojave 10.14.1 Did you managed to get it work? I also have same issue. I can go to sleep. But waking up gives a problem. I can hear my hard drive startup, and sound. But Finder freezes and I get the spinning wheel forever. I have to manually reboot... I'm running with F16 bios, and changed OS Type to Windows 8 WHQL and CSM support to never, but no luck. Still the same... Everything else is working! Intel HD 4000, Audio, internet, speed step, imessage.... So this last step is important for me :-) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/336399-z77x-ud5h-mojave-sleep-dont-working/#findComment-2654392 Share on other sites
