Hey guys, so Mojave works perfectly fine when I physically take out my gtx 1070 from my pc case but when I have it installed (with no cables attached to display) Mojave just boots to the wallpaper.

Hey guys, I've been trying to get this working for a few days now and I can't seem to figure out whats wrong. I have a gtx 1070 and an rx570 installed into my pc. I want to have the gtx 1070 for windows and the rx 570 for Mojave. OSX works perfectly fine when I physically take the gtx 1070 out of my system, but when I boot into OSX with the gtx1070 installed it loads just the wallpaper, so the menu bar and dock are completely missing and I can't log into my osx user account.

I've patched my config.plist using u/corpnewt's guide here

Current list of kexts:

AppleALC

IntelMausiEthernet

Lilu

RealtekRTL8111

USBInjectALL

VirtualSMC

WhateverGreen

My PC Specs are as follows:

Intel i7-6700k

Asus ROG Maximus VIII Hero LGA 1151

GTX 1070 Asus Strix installed in the first slot

RX 570 Asus Strix installed in the second slot

I'm thinking I might of messed up adding the patch in my config file or I'm missing something else. Really not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Nvidia Pascal graphics cards are not supported by Mojave yet. As its need the latest mojave supported Nvidia web driver which is not released yet. If you wanna use your 1070 then you should go back to High Sierra 10.13.6.

Yeah man, I know. I'm not trying to use my pascal card though. A few users have figured out how to patch their config files so the pascal card is essentially disabled in mojave. I'm having some issues with that however.
