MrZombie98
Hi, I succefuly installed osx mojave on my Omen dc-0007nl. I patched DSDT.aml for battery status: only 2-4% difference between windows and osx (i have dual boot). I also installed OS Check Fix in the dsdt but at every startup the bios show me the message of faulty battery. I already flashed the bios, that resolved the problem until i boot osx again. Could be a problem of the dsdt or else? mnfesq
I used to have problems with the ACPIBatteryManager.kext, which I used with FakeSMC.kext. I have had no problems with my battery since I started using SMCBatteryManager.kext with VirtualSMC.kext. Here is what i find out: - ACPIBatteryManager.kext + FakeSMC.kext cause problem when i reboot or shutdown where the battery doesen't charge any more - you combination of SMCBatteryManager.kext with VirtualSMC.kext resolve the problem above, now battery charge and dicharge but only in osx, when i am on windows battery doesen't charge - also the bios messagge of faulty battery return as soon as i boot osx. Here i will add two debug zip, one with ACPIBatteryManager.kext + FakeSMC.kext and the other with SMCBatteryManager.kext and VirtualSMC.kex that i got from here (this is not my pc but i don't have xcode to build) Also in the two there is the dsdt patch for my battery that i got from here I hope you can help me a bit more... VirtualSMC.zip with FakeSMC.zip PS: My mainboard is HP 84DA (AMI Bios F.06) Edited October 31, 2018 by MrZombie98 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/336237-hp-battery-alert-problem/#findComment-2644218 Share on other sites

See what happens and report back here (or there.)
