syldaril
I am running 10.4.5 on a Vaio UX280P: Intel Core Solo 1.2GHz Intel Chipset 945GM Intel GMA 950 graphics My screen's native resolution is 1024x600 but the OS only offers 800x600 and another lower resolution. I changed the com.apple.boot.plist and added the following line: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1024x600x32</string> but it seems to work for a very brief time immediately upon startup (blue screen), but then switches back to 800x600 I am trying to find a way to force the video card to a set resolution, does anyone know how? Thanks! Syldaril. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/33612-forcing-resolution-with-gma-950/ Share on other sites

WickDC
I know this is an old post, but did you ever figure this out? I have one now too and trying to get the graphics working same issue. Also, ever get the networking working? Doesn't seem like either wired or wireless has drivers even now. :/ THANKS! chad@chad-wick.com I am running 10.4.5 on a Vaio UX280P: Intel Core Solo 1.2GHz Intel Chipset 945GM Intel GMA 950 graphics My screen's native resolution is 1024x600 but the OS only offers 800x600 and another lower resolution. sev7en
Hi, I've the same issue but with a UX91s and latest Jas'10.4.8 release... did you fix the resolution issue? Does audio support works fine to you? Cheers, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/33612-forcing-resolution-with-gma-950/#findComment-340836 Share on other sites
