speediostar
Hi, I got an old notebook (HP Probook 4720s) with (actually) Windows 10. But I am using iMac's and Macbooks like 5 or 6 years so I thought maybe I could install hackintosh on this notebook. I tried it already a few times. I could install Mac OS but I couldnt fix anything. The system was only booting with the pen drive. Without the pen drive it stucked at a black screen with (I dont remember anymore) something with ''override''..... I found this tutorial on your site: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286092-guide-1st-generation-intel-hd-graphics-qeci/ My system is: Intel Core i3 370M / 2.4 GHz / Mobile Intel HM57 Express 3GB DDR3 Ram ATI Mobility Radeon HD 530v - 512 MB The tutorial says that I should turn off the ATI Graphics in BIOS and use the INTEL HD Graphics. - But i can't turn off the ATI card. Is it even possible to install Hackintosh on this laptop? Or is it just a waste of my time to trying? And last question: Would be High Sierre compatible or should I use another OS? If it isnt compatible which OS should I try? Thanks for your help. ** Sorry for my bad english but I hope you understand me. Donw35
Video chip will probably be your challenge and given the age of the laptop, probably wouldn't be all that good. Linux ?
